Exploring Landbeing is a 3-day series of improvisations in conversation with Leeay Aikawa, Kristi Chen, and Akash Inbakumar’s collective exhibition Landbeing. Each day will feature a different trio of improvisers, brought together exceptionally for these performances, responding to the sculptural work and weaving their creative practices together. Landbeing seeks to explore how living means being in relationship with space, whether as traveler or as resident, and various ways to collaborate, to adapt and commune. This series allows for a unique opportunity to commune and find grounding in the work through sound and spontaneous composition.

Come and meet Alexandre Larose on the occasion of the exhibition Chutes, curated by Nicole Gingras. The artist will be present to answer your questions and discuss the important research and experimentation process required to create the installation La Grande Dame (2018-2022).

McBride Contemporain and Nadine Faraj invite you to discover the exhibition Playing with Fire through a unique musical activation that will take place at the heart of the artist’s installation. The musical activation will be performed by Lateef Martin, a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans illustration, writing, music, game design, and jewelry and instrument fabrication. A morning tea will be served to visitors.

Centre SKOL invites you to explore Alex Coma’s universe, one of the five artists featured in the collective exhibition REAL FICTIONS, through the first of five artist residencies offered to participants of the exhibition.

You will be welcomed with a health drink provided by Alcami Elements and will start with 30 minutes of guided meditation in the dark led by Alex Coma. This will be followed by a 60-minute screening of a cross-interview between Alex Coma and Matt Cangiano, another artist from the collective exhibition. The session will conclude with a Q&A.
