Le Sabord magazine—a quarterly publication of Quebecois creation that offers unique collaborations between literature and visual arts—partners with Centre SKOL to celebrate the launch of its 128th issue, focusing on “Foudres,” during the opening evening of Gallery Weekend Montreal 2024.

The launch will begin with a panel discussion featuring authors and artists exploring the concept of “fulgurance” from 4 PM to 5 PM. After 5 PM, attendees are invited to meet the Le Sabord team over a convivial drink provided by Le Sabord and Centre SKOL.

Landbeing seeks to explore how living means being in relationship with space, whether as traveler or as resident, and various ways to collaborate, to adapt and commune. Centre SKOL invites you to explore Alex Coma’s universe, one of the five artists featured in the collective exhibition REAL FICTIONS, through the first of five artist residencies offered to participants of the exhibition.

You will be welcomed with a health drink provided by Alcami Elements and will start with 30 minutes of guided meditation in the dark led by Alex Coma. This will be followed by a 60-minute screening of a cross-interview between Alex Coma and Matt Cangiano, another artist from the collective exhibition. The session will conclude with a Q&A.
